What we are — and what we are not

Adellatis Legal Consultants is a legal consultancy. We are not a firm of solicitors or barristers, and we are not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) or the Bar Standards Board. Our team includes lawyers educated and trained in the UK and in Pakistan; none are practising English solicitors or barristers.

Unreserved legal services only

We provide only unreserved legal services within the meaning of the Legal Services Act 2007. We do not undertake reserved legal activities: we do not exercise rights of audience before the courts, conduct litigation, prepare reserved instruments relating to land or probate, or carry out notarial or oath activities. Where your matter requires a regulated professional, we will tell you promptly and can work alongside the solicitor or barrister you instruct.

No legal representation

Engaging us does not create a solicitor–client relationship. Our work product is consultancy work prepared to your instructions. You remain free to have any document we prepare reviewed by a regulated adviser, and for some matters we will recommend it.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with our work, write to info@adellatis.com with the subject “Complaint”. We acknowledge within 2 working days and respond substantively within 14. Because we are not SRA-regulated, complaints do not fall under the Legal Ombudsman; your consumer-law rights are unaffected.
