Our story
Why Adellatis exists
Adellatis was founded by two foreign qualified lawyers — one in London, one working internationally — who saw the same gap from both ends: straightforward legal work priced as if it were bespoke. The everyday 80% of legal work — contracts, documents, research, correspondence — is unreserved, and it can be done properly at a fraction of law-firm rates. That is the work we do, and the only work we take.

What is “unreserved” legal work?
Under the Legal Services Act 2007, only six categories of legal activity are “reserved” — meaning they may only be carried out by authorised professionals such as solicitors and barristers:
- Exercising rights of audience (appearing before a court)
- Conducting litigation (formally running court proceedings)
- Reserved instrument activities (certain land and court documents)
- Probate activities (applying for grants of probate)
- Notarial activities
- Administering oaths
Everything else — contract drafting and review, legal research, advisory work, correspondence, documents, wills drafting, disputes support outside formal proceedings — is unreserved, and may lawfully be provided by a legal consultancy like Adellatis. That is the space we work in, and where a matter crosses into reserved territory, we tell you and can work alongside your solicitor.

Muhammad Saad Ali Syed
Director — UK
LLB (Quaid-i-Azam University); LLM (SOAS, University of London). Saad, an Advocate of the Islamabad Bar Council, served for multiple years as a civil servant within HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) before co-founding Adellatis. He leads client work, quality review and UK operations — every deliverable crosses his desk before it reaches you.
Adeen Ahmed Siddiqi
Co-founder — International
B.Eng graduate of UCL (University College London), qualified in law in Pakistan; Advocate of the High Court and former judicial law clerk at the Islamabad High Court. Practises corporate, tax and commercial law and leads the Adellatis legal team, bringing cross-border depth to research-heavy and transactional work.
