What we don’t do
We are a legal consultancy, not a firm of solicitors, and we only take on unreserved legal work. We do not appear in court, conduct litigation, or handle reserved activities such as probate applications or property transfers. When your matter needs a regulated professional, we say so promptly — and we can work alongside your solicitor to keep their bill down.

Are you solicitors?
No. Adellatis Legal Consultants is a legal consultancy. We are not solicitors or barristers and are not regulated by the SRA or the Bar Standards Board. We only carry out unreserved legal work as permitted under the Legal Services Act 2007 — which covers most everyday drafting, research and advisory support.
Can you represent me in court?
No — advocacy and the conduct of litigation are reserved to regulated professionals. We can support you or your solicitor with research, drafting and preparation, which is often where most of the cost sits.
How do fees work?
You approve a written scope and fixed fee before we begin. Hourly work is billed from £35/hour with an agreed cap. Revisions within scope are included.
How do you keep quality high?
Every piece of work is reviewed by our UK-based director — LLM (SOAS, University of London) and formerly a law clerk in the UK — and checked against current law of England and Wales before it reaches you.
